A Delicious Week!

We had 2 birthdays and a Gala this week. My birthday was first, and Bob started my day with flowers and a very nice card. Followed by massages. And NO, not to each other...professional massages! People, Really! In the afternoon we went to Hibachi in Minneapolis for a great dinner. The chef was amazing. Dinner AND a show. But the mother in me kept worrying about him hurting himself..... or me, with those knives he was throwing around. Definately not for the feint of heart. Dessert was green tea ice cream with a candle. Delish!









Next up was Bob's birthday. Our plans were thrown out the window when I had to go to the dentist in the middle of the day, but we managed to have lunch with Max and Molly at Chili's where Bob ordered a sirloin!, and also have the kids over for a birthday cake in the evening - Woulette's Chocolate and Whip Cream Layer Cake. Delish!



On Saturday Night was the St.Paul Fire Foundation's Annual FIREBALL. Both the invitation and the program cover had a picture of Bob's helmet and hands that were taken during the Calendar shoot. The Executive Director of the Foundation didn't notice that a name was on it until after all 3000 were printed and mailed. Ha!



Bob and the other members of the SPFD Honor Guard presented the colors at the opening of the program.We had a special appearance of the MN State Fire Service Memorial Pipe Band and the Dalmatian Society of MN. They had a silent auction, a great Prime Rib meal, and a very nice program showing the St. Paul Fire Department at their finest. The emcees were Jonathon Yuhas and Joy Lim Nakrin from KSTP. Special guests were Amy Klobuchar and archbishop Harry Flynn. Dinner was followed by a live band and dance. The dessert was Red velvet Mousse topped with a chocolate covered strawberry. Delish!

Little Beary Boo Boo

Completely on their own, without my knowledge, Sophie and Luke worked together to fix Sophie's bear whose leg had fallen off. I love it when they play nicely together. So Beary cute, am I right? I just had to autograph that darling little cast!
